Get a Seat at the Table

Many global issues require leveraging diverse expertise and getting the right people to the table.  This is especially true in the area of global climate change.

The UN Foundation works with the Energy Future Coalition, a broad-based, nonpartisan alliance.  The goal is to bridge the differences among business, labor, and environmental groups to identify energy policy options with broad political support.

The UN Foundation’s partnership in this area supports the realization of a new energy economy.  What’s unique is that this isn’t one sector or one group advocating one piece of the puzzle.  The Energy Future Coalition works at the heart of coalition building with diverse sectors.

The UN is the major global institution working on all global problems.  Partnering with the UN Foundation means access to the wide range of UN agencies and experts on an unprecedented scale.
