    Area of Involvement: Sustainable Development

    The Belize Tourism Board is a statutory body within the Ministry of Tourism which functions as a strategic partnership between government and the private sector to develop, market and implement tourism programs that fulfill the emerging needs of our local industries and international tourism marketplace for the benefit of Belize and Belizeans.

    BTIA is a Non-Government Membership, Advocacy Organization Promoting and Maintaining Sustainable Tourism, while Safeguarding the Natural and Cultural Integrity of Belize for the Benefit of all. Vision: BTIA will be Belize’s National Driving Force in Tourism. We Shall Achieve Product Excellence in the Global Marketplace through International Promotions, Local Networking, Education and Awareness Programs, and Membership Advocacy for the Success of Tourism.

    A registered public company responsible for developing policy framework and tourism products in Dominica. Known as "The Nature Island" and located between the French West Indies islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique in the Eastern Caribbean, the independent nation of Dominica (pronounced "dom-in-eek-a") is the largest and most mountainous of the Windward Islands, encompassing an area of nearly 290 square miles. Of volcanic origins with mountains reaching heights of nearly 5,000 feet, rainforests that are considered among the last true oceanic rainforests in the world, more than 365 rivers, waterfalls, boiling lakes and pristine coral reefs, Dominica's natural diversity is truly unique. Dominica is also home to the last remaining settlement of the Indigenous People of the Caribbean - Carib Indians.
