    The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and counsels victims of disasters; provides nearly half of the nation's blood supply; teaches lifesaving skills; and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a charitable organization – not a government agency – and depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its humanitarian mission

Vision: BTIA will be Belize’s National Driving Force in Tourism. We Shall Achieve Product Excellence in the Global Marketplace through International Promotions, Local Networking, Education and Awareness Programs, and Membership Advocacy for the Success of Tourism.

    Area of Involvement: Children’s Health ; Women & Population

    Guided by the belief that every life has equal value, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation works to help all people lead healthy, productive lives. In developing countries, it focuses on improving people's health and giving them the chance to lift themselves out of hunger and extreme poverty. In the United States, it seeks to ensure that all people—especially those with the fewest resources—have access to the opportunities they need to succeed in school and life. Based in Seattle, the foundation is led by CEO Patty Stonesifer and co-chair William H. Gates Sr., under the direction of Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett.

It is the second largest Protestant denomination in the U.S., with about 35,000 churches. The denomination has long been a key player in the fight against malaria, having operated hospitals, clinics, schools and mission centers across Africa for more than 160 years. Global health issues are a major focus for The United Methodist Church, which is engaged in a new global health initiative aimed at combating diseases of poverty such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, and tuberculosis.
