Rebecca Einhorn has over 10 years of strategic communications, grassroots, and advocacy experience, including key roles in Congress and within private sector consulting firms, coalitions, and NGOs. In her current role as Senior Communications Director, UN Foundation Policy and Advocacy, she guides public relations efforts that build and showcase U.S. support for the United Nations.
Prior to joining the UN Foundation in 2012, Rebecca served as an Assistant Vice President at Venn Strategies, LLC, a K-street public affairs consulting firm, where she developed and executed strategic communications, public affairs, and grass roots campaigns to improve brand awareness of the firm and engender public and legislative support for its clients. Previously, Rebecca served as Press Secretary for Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) for whom she created and led national and regional media campaigns, developed all external communications and coordinated messaging with the House Democratic Caucus, Congressional Hispanic Caucus, and Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit.
Prior to her work with the House of Representatives, Rebecca managed communications for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, branding the national profile of the nonprofit as well as its board members, including members of Congress and Fortune 500 executives. Rebecca holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Spanish Language & Literature from Brandeis University.
