Patricia “Patty” Padilla
Patty Padilla serves as the Executive Director of Global Events for the United Nations Foundation. In her role, she leads a team that produces over 300 events a year focused on creating global impact and social good.
Patty is an awards winning event producer and has more than 15 years of experience creating events and forging partnerships, working with elected leaders, prominent individuals and foundations, and fortune 500 companies across the globe. Her work include event production for both Hillary Clinton's and Barak Obama's presidential campaigns in 2008, as well as president obama’s inauguration. She has produced events in partnership with Swarovski, Caterpillar, LinkedIn, SXSW, Oprah, the Clinton Foundation, IBM, Dermalogica, the World Economic Forum, Yachting Australia, the United Nations and with federal entities including the U.S Departments of State and Labor, and the White House.
Patty has curated events spanning the spectrum from live large-scale forums and concerts, to intimate roundtables and interactive online gatherings in more than 46 states and 35 countries.
Prior to joining the UN Foundation, Patty served in the Obama Administration, and played a key role for the 2012 Democratic National Convention and Presidential Inaugural Committee. Her passions continue to drive her every day, as she aspires to create impactful experiences through events and gatherings for individuals working to make a difference in the world.
