Kate Dodson is the managing director of global health at the United Nations Foundation. In this role, Ms. Dodson is responsible for ensuring that UNF’s advocacy, partnership, campaign, and program work for global health is coordinated, effective, and efficient. She also oversees a major partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on global health advocacy. Previously, she was Director of Special Projects and Deputy Director of Global Health. Kate spent her first five years at UNF in the biodiversity/sustainable development program in various positions, including Deputy Director of Sustainable Development.
Ms. Dodson has many years of experience working on global development and has traveled, worked and studied in several countries in Latin America. She has a master’s degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
