Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves

The Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves is a new initiative, led by the UN Foundation, supporting large-scale adoption of clean and safe household cooking solutions as a way to save lives, improve livelihoods, empower women, and reduce climate change emissions. The Alliance's founding partners have set a goal of enabling an additional 100 million homes to adopt clean and efficient stoves and fuels by 2020.

Hawaii Big Island Visitors Bureau

The Big Island Visitors Bureau oversees the tourism marketing for the island of Hawaii, site of Hawaii's only World Heritage site. BIVB's mission is to create sustainable, diversified, travel demand for the island of Hawaii, also known as the Big Island. The BIVB is a chapter of the statewide Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau, a private, non-profit organization which promotes leisure and business travel, and acts as a catalyst for enhancing Hawaii's wide-ranging visitor experiences, while creating economic opportunities through tourism.

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Established on August 1, 1916, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park preserves for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations, the significant resources that reflect Hawaii's geological, biological, and cultural heritage. Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park, displays the results of 70 million years of volcanism, migration, and evolution processes that thrust a bare land from the sea and clothed it with unique ecosystems, and a distinct human culture. The park highlights two of the world's most active volcanoes, and offers insights on the birth of the Hawaiian Islands and views of dramatic volcanic landscapes.

International Community Foundation

The International Community Foundation mission is to increase charitable giving and volunteerism across U.S. borders to benefit overseas communities and non-profit organizations. The foundation works with donors to promote philanthropic collaborations and strategic grantmaking fostering sustainable communities in Mexico and Latin America with an emphasis on Mexico's Baja California peninsula and the Gulf of California region.

Junior Chamber International (JCI)

JCI is a worldwide network of nearly a quarter of a million members (young leaders in their 20s and 30s) in over one hundred countries and territories. Through various local, national and international projects and events, JCI members meet, learn and grow. JCI also has millions of alumni, many of whom provide support to active members.

Lutheran World Relief

Lutheran World Relief, an international nonprofit organization, works to end poverty and injustice by empowering some of the world's most impoverished communities to help themselves. With partners in 35 countries, LWR seeks to promote sustainable development with justice and dignity by helping communities bring about change for healthy, safe and secure lives; engage in Fair Trade; promote peace and reconciliation; and respond to emergencies. LWR is headquartered in Baltimore, Md. and has worked in international development and relief since 1945.

MAC AIDS Fund

The MAC AIDS Fund, the "heart and soul" of MAC cosmetics, provides vital support to men, women and children with HIV/AIDS. Since 1994, MAC has raised over $41 million primarily through VIVA GLAM lipstick, from which 100% percent of sales go directly to organizations worldwide that provide direct care services and essentials to those affected, as well as education, and prevention programs to support the elimination of prejudice and discrimination against HIV/AIDS-affected individuals.

Malaria No More

Malaria No More is an inclusive, grassroots movement to control malaria, a preventable and treatable disease that kills more than one million people annually, especially in Africa, where one child dies from malaria every 45 seconds. Leading non-governmental organizations created Malaria No More in 2006 to give individuals and private and non-profit organizations the opportunity to support a comprehensive approach in the fight against malaria, and to help coordinate those efforts with governments, and the multilateral and international organizations at the forefront of this fight.
