Sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) are critical to allowing girls and women to achieve their full potential. Girls can avoid early marriage and stay in school, and women can pursue an income and have children if and when they are ready. In turn, they lift themselves, their families and communities out of poverty. That’s why we must invest in the information, education and services she needs to plan her family and her future, and ensure that the health and rights of adolescent girls is robustly included in the next development framework.
