Through UNFPA, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and IMIFAP (Instituto Mexicano de Investigacion de Familia y Poblacion), this project provides a program of integral family and community development to 160,000 of the most marginalized members of both mestizo and indigenous populations in the state of Hidalgo. It incorporates health and education systems as well as the mass media to create a model for application in other parts of Mexico and Latin America.
