Fund (UNICEF)
Amount Funded: $1,634,400 over 36 months

This project aims to reduce
mortality and morbidity among children under five
years of age in three regions of Mali. Through
the promotion of preventive health interventions,
the project will improve community and household
knowledge and practices for child-care and child
illness management, improve immunization coverage
and ensure adequate micronutrient supplementation
among children under five years of age. The project
will also address issues of geographic accessibility,
affordability, quality of service delivery, and
availability of essential drugs and supplies.
