New Digital Platform Launches to Spark Conversation Around Global Goals

Today, the United Nations Foundation announced the launch of Global Daily, a digital news aggregator that will showcase the best media reporting from news organizations around the world. Supported by Jynwel Foundation, with additional supporters being announced in the coming weeks, the site will spotlight top stories around the globe including areas like poverty, children’s health, empowerment of women and girls, sustainable environment, disease, and development.

2015 is a year when people are focusing on results of the Millennium Development Goals and the promise and potential of the next set of global goals. With so much is at stake, Global Daily will provide access to the news and information that is informing the global conversation around international development priorities and the multilateral processes shaping the next 15 years.
