On Friday, May 1, mothers and advocates came together for Moms +SocialGood, a one-day event to highlight the power of mothers and families to create a better future. The event also launched the Global Moms Relay: From May 1 to June 19, parents, community leaders, and celebrities will share personal stories about the kind of world they want for families by 2030.
Every time you share one of these stories on social media, Johnson & Johnson will donate $1 – per share, per social network, and up to $300,000 – to one of four initiatives that works to improve the lives of women and children around the world.
Last month, the United Nations Foundation’s Nothing But Nets campaign launched “The Million Nets Pledge.” Together with supporters, Nothing But Nets has committed to providing United Nations partners with 1 million life-saving nets to protect refugee families from malaria by the end of 2016.
