The Power of Moms to Create a Better World

On Friday, May 1, mothers and advocates came together for Moms +SocialGood, a one-day event to highlight the power of mothers and families to create a better future. The event also launched the Global Moms Relay: From May 1 to June 19, parents, community leaders, and celebrities will share personal stories about the kind of world they want for families by 2030.

Every time you share one of these stories on social media, Johnson & Johnson will donate $1 – per share, per social network, and up to $300,000 – to one of four initiatives that works to improve the lives of women and children around the world.

Join the Global Moms Relay.

Protecting Refugees from Malaria

Last month, the United Nations Foundation’s Nothing But Nets campaign launched “The Million Nets Pledge.” Together with supporters, Nothing But Nets has committed to providing United Nations partners with 1 million life-saving nets to protect refugee families from malaria by the end of 2016.

Join Nothing But Nets and take the pledge.

Global Conversation on the Global Goals Ramps Up

The conversation on sustainability, development, climate change, and other international issues continues to grow as we head toward the September summit at the United Nations to determine the next set of global goals. Last month, thousands of people gathered in Washington, D.C. for the Global Citizen Earth Day festival, which raised awareness of the global goals. Additionally, the UN Foundation and partners launched Global Daily, an online news aggregator featuring the latest news on the global goals.
