Supporting UN Communications
The United Nations reaches millions of people worldwide and faces many challenges in the course of its work. We work closely with the UN to communicate these challenges effectively to world governments. The story of the UN and its lifesaving work is also the life stories of the millions of people who UN programs have helped.
In order to better tell that story, we have worked with the UN to develop new Web sites, create the UN Radio Service, engage online media outlets and share the UN’s point of view through our multiple blogs. We have worked with the UN on numerous communications campaigns to highlight UN peacekeeping, UN reform, climate change, HIV/AIDS and women’s empowerment.
