This study examines the effects of wage employment programs including active labor market policies, child care programs, wage subsidies, factory and business management training, and skill certification programs on improving women’s employability and quality of work and labor rights programs.

Introducing Women to Clean Cookstoves Value Chain

This study explores the perceived benefits of incorporating women in door-to-door sales through the retail stores that distribute improved cookstoves in Bangladesh. It does so by interviewing organizations engaged in clean cookstove production and distribution, business owners of stores that hire saleswomen, and saleswomen working in door-to-door sales of cookstoves and other products.
