UN Day

Join Us on October 24 for United Nations Day

UN Day

UN Day is a day to celebrate all the work the UN does to change lives and solve global problems. Here's how we showed our support!

  • Celebrate: More than 100 chapters of the United Nations Association of the USA hosted more than 175 UN Day events in 33 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. Check out the map below for a list of events to sign up as a UNA member.
  • Connect: Senator Timothy E. Wirth, President of the United Nations Foundation, issued the following statement to commemorate “United Nations Day,” which marks the 67th anniversary of when the UN Charter went into effect.
  • "Wear Your UN Blue:" UN supporters worldwide joined the UN Foundation and its campaigns and wore something blue to show their love on UN Day.
  • Share! With your support, the UN is creating a better world every day. View the important work the UN does and help spread the word.
