For nearly 30 years, Minneapolis-born writer Todd Wilkinson has been a professional journalist with assignments that have taken him around the world. Making his home today in Bozeman, Montana, he started his his career as a violent crime reporter with the City News Bureau of Chicago, the legendary training ground for young "cub" journalists.
Its distinguished alumni include New York Times columnist David Brooks, investigative journalist Seymour Hersh, Jacob Weisberg of Slate.com and the late novelist Kurt Vonnegut.
Wilkinson's work appears regularly in national magazines and newspapers and he is a western correspondent for the Christian Science Monitor.
