Media Intern, United Nations Foundation


Becky Davis joined the United Nations Foundation’s Public Affairs team as the Media intern. Prior to joining our team, Becky interned at the international Public Relations Agency, Weber Shandwick. During her senior year of college, Becky interned at Amizade Global Service-Learning, an international NGO that empowers individuals and communities through worldwide service and learning. While there, she worked on gaining awareness for the global water crisis in rural Africa. During the summer of 2011, she volunteered at a local radio station in rural Tanzania where she taught practical skills to station workers on how to actively engage community members in local and national news through radio segments. 

Graduating Cum Laude from West Virginia University, Becky earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with a specialization in Public Relations and minor in Spanish. Originally from Gettysburg, PA, she enjoys traveling, reading and being in the outdoors.

Fun Fact about Becky: She does jewelry design, making many handcrafted pieces.
