Director of Public Outreach, United Nations Foundation
Kaitlin Barry is the Director of Public Outreach for the United Nations Foundation. She has been with the Foundation since 2008 helping oversee it's work with a diverse range of audiences, some of which include national and international universities and public partners in the NY and DC regions. Prior to this, Kaitlin spent ten years working as a teacher and a non-profit manager for various organizations in New York City, Vermont, Philadelphia and Washington, DC. Her focus was on social justice education with a speciality integrating community-based and global issues into public education curriculum. She graduated from New York University with a Masters of Arts in Education and from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor degree in Studio Art.
Fun fact: Used to live in North Dakota and once dreamed of being a profession barrel racer.
