Associate Director of Earth Day, Earth Day Network
John Maleri, Associate Director of Earth Day, comes to Earth Day Network from work as a habitat restoration specialist for the environmental group Save the Bay, Rhode Island. He worked to monitor salinity levels for estuaries within Narragansett Bay. Previously, he worked for the Providence College Women’s Volleyball team as a manager. Now as a member of the Earth Day team, John is helping Earth Day Network organize Earth Day related events all over the world and achieve A Billion Acts of Green®”.

Each year, Earth Day -- April 22 -- marks the anniversary of what many consider the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970.
