Intern, Girl Up, United Nations Foundation
Imali joined the United Nations Foundation as a Public Affairs intern working with the Girl Up campaign. Prior to joining the Foundation, Imali worked as an Executive intern with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Washington, DC where she conducted research of U.S.-Sri Lanka relations and worked in community relations.
Imali earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2012, majoring in Political Economy and Globalization from the University of California, Berkeley. Go Bears! Originally a southern California girl, Imali loves to travel, go to live music festivals, and cook for her friends.
