Darley joined the UN Foundation’s Public Affairs team in November 2011. Prior to the Foundation Darley was an Education Program Officer for a local NGO in Cambodia working on redesigning curriculum and developing partnerships with other local NGOs. The experience in Cambodia, combined with in-depth research on partnership development and consensus building, served as her final case study for her Masters in International Development from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. Darley has had a wide range of cross-sector professional experience including positions at ABC News, the United Nations, and the USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service. Darley earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Journalism from the University of Delaware. In her spare time Darley enjoys biking, writing short stories, and finding new things to see and do in her new home, Washington, D.C.

Falling for Change
Fall, my favorite season, is officially here (at least in my hometown of D.C.). I love the crispness in the air, the colorful leaves, and cozy sweaters. Most of all, I love the feeling of "change" everywhere. This fall, the United Nations Foundation is embracing the season of change with three exciting initiatives to give everyone, everywhere the chance to make a difference in their community and around the world.

Energy's Great Potential

UN Foundation Vice President for Climate and Energy, Reid Detchon and Figueres held a media roundtable with some of D.C’s most prominent climate and energy reporters.
