    As part of the first official National Day of Service and Remembrance on September 11 and President Obama's service initiative, United We Serve, Ambassador Susan E. Rice participated in a Nothing But Nets service event hosted by the United Nations Foundation.Over 100 high school students from UNA-USA's Global Classrooms and The School Without Walls in Washington, DC attended the event to learn how service locally can make an impact globally. This video is an overview of the event and the Nothing But Nets malaria workshop.

  4. Nothing But Nets Travels to UNHCR Refugee Camp in Uganda

    Our Nothing But Nets campaign travels to Uganda with actor Tom Cavanagh and singer Gavin DeGraw to deliver bed nets to refugees. Malaria is the #1 killer of refugees. Two thirds of the 33 million refugees worldwide live in malaria endemic countries. We are working with the UN Refugee Agency to send lifesaving bed nets to protect refugees.
