Glynis Jones Director, Contracts and Grants Management
Glynis Jones is the Director of Contracts and Grants Management at the UN Foundation. She is responsible for the financial administration of the Foundation’s grants portfolio and oversees the review and approval of UNF’s contractual agreements.
Ms. Jones brings over 14 years of public and non-profit leadership experience to the Foundation. Prior to joining UNF in January 2005, Ms. Jones worked at the Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF) in Denver for eight years, departing as its Associate Director. At WESTAF she served as the nonprofit arts organization’s chief financial and operations officer, responsible for all financial and administrative activities including: fiscal management, grants administration, trustee relations, personnel management and long-range planning.
Before joining WESTAF, Ms. Jones served as a bank examiner for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). In this role, she performed financial analyses of banking operations; reviewed the quality of loan portfolios, banking procedures, and internal control systems; assessed the risk profile of business plans and strategies; and determined the existence of unsafe and unsound practices and violations of law and regulation in financial institutions throughout Colorado.
Ms. Jones holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from DrakeUniversity in Des Moines, Iowa and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
