Lesli Creedon is Executive Director, Development
at the UN Foundation. In this new position, she
is building the Foundation’s first comprehensive
development initiative aimed at ensuring the Foundation’s
sustainability in the years ahead. Ms. Creedon has
over 15 years of development, communications, and
non-profit management experience.
Prior to joining UNF, Ms. Creedon was Vice President,
External Affairs at Resources for the Future, a
55-year-old independent, nonpartisan think tank
that focuses on energy, environmental, and natural
resource policymaking. In that position, she oversaw
the institution’s development and communications
departments and board relations. Ms. Creedon was
the first female officer of RFF, serving as secretary
to the board. She also oversaw RFF’s $25 million
50th anniversary campaign, which resulted in the
establishment of the institution’s first four
endowed chairs. Ms. Creedon has spent her career
in the policy and think tank arena – having
held development positions at The Brookings Institution,
The Aspen Institute, and the Economic Policy Institute.
Ms. Creedon earned her undergraduate degree at Miami
University in Oxford, Ohio.
