Kevin Starace
Kevin Starace, senior malaria advisor at the United Nations Foundation, specializes in private sector initiatives, global health policy and strategy. Before coming to the UN Foundation in 2003, Mr. Starace had more than 10 years of experience in business development, communications, strategic planning and politics.
Mr. Starace began his career as a presidential speech and advertising writer in the 1992 elections and then as policy aide in the House of Commons. He was then an award-winning writer and strategist at Young & Rubicam, where he crafted national and international campaigns and business strategies for Fortune 100 brands. Following that, he directed alliances, development and creative for several firms that he co-founded—one a consulting agency and the other a new media channel.
Mr. Starace graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York, Albany. His skills include corporate social responsibility, business modeling, branding, entrepreneurialism and marketing.
